Grief is an undeniable part of our lives that not one of us can escape.
We grieve the loss of people we care about.
We grieve the loss of people we feel connected to, yet don't even know (e.g. George Floyd).
We grieve the loss of jobs.
We grieve the end of relationships (including friendships).
We grieve the opportunities we longed for and didn't get.
We grieve who we thought someone should/would be (think ourselves, our children).
And the list goes on.
Depending on how deep the pain is associated with the loss, grief can be crippling - preventing us from moving forward with our lives.
And when trauma is layered with grief, working through it to get to a place of healing can feel nearly impossible.
Even when people desire to get help with their grief, research has found that more than 50% of grieving individuals have reported difficulty in finding resources.
Well look no further! Our recent podcast episode delves deep into the topic of grief and provides you with practical, easy to use strategies to help you rise from the magnitude of loss - no matter the circumstances.
I also have an entire chapter on grief in Me Too: A Therapist's Journey to Heal, Find Liberation, & Joy and additional resources highlighted in the reader's guide to accompany the book, including Michelle Hord's powerful book, The Other Side of Yet.
Michelle and I also did an interview a while ago for the Women Who Write to Liberate Summit which I highly encourage you to check out here to add to your grief acumen.
So go ahead and tune in now to and buy my book here so you can find ways to effectively integrate any loss you've faced fully into your present and future.
